Program Manager - Flex Care Youth Ecosystem

The Program Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, staffing, delivery, and evaluation of the Flex Care Youth Ecosystem programs.

This role oversees all day-to-day program operations, ensures compliance with facility policies, manages staff and volunteers, collaborates with nonprofit partners, and ensures high-quality learning and sport experiences for youth ages 6–16.

The Program Manager acts as the primary leadership figure for youth programs, ensuring safety, engagement, professionalism, and alignment with Vision Sports Centre’s standards—including child protection, emergency procedures, and operational compliance.

Game Coordinator - Flex Care Youth Ecosystem

The Game Coordinator is responsible for supervising, guiding, and supporting a group of up to 20 youth participants as they rotate between trainers, coaches, and learning zones within the Flex Care Youth Ecosystem. This role ensures participants remain safe, engaged, on schedule, and transition smoothly through sports, STEM activities, mental wellness exercises, tutoring zones, and life-skills sessions.

The Game Coordinator acts as the primary point of contact for their assigned youth group each day and is expected to model positive behavior, uphold child protection standards, and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for all participants.

Athletic Coach - Flex Care Youth Ecosystem

The Coach plays a key instructional role within the Flex Care Youth Ecosystem, delivering high-quality sports or wellness programming to groups of youth aged 6–16. Coaches lead structured activity blocks (sports skills, physical literacy, conditioning, Muay Thai/boxing fundamentals, ball hockey skills, agility & movement sessions, etc.) while ensuring participant safety, engagement, and progression.

Coaches work closely with Game Coordinators and the Program Manager to deliver safe, inclusive, fun, and educational sport experiences aligned with our overall Youth Ecosystem model that integrates sports, life skills, STEM, nutrition, and mental wellness.

STEM Tutor/Teacher - Flex Care Youth Ecosystem

The STEM Tutor/Teacher leads hands-on educational sessions that connect science, technology, engineering, and math to sports, health, and movement. This role helps youth ages 6–16 explore concepts such as biomechanics, reaction time, nutrition science, sports data, heart-rate monitoring, balance & physics, problem-solving, and real-life experiments embedded in play.

The STEM Tutor/Teacher ensures learning is fun, accessible, and active, aligning with the Youth Ecosystem’s goal of developing strong minds and bodies through integrated education.

This position requires an educator who is passionate about youth learning, creativity, and making STEM relevant to real-world sports environments.

Guest Attendant - Flex Care Youth Ecosystem

The Guest Attendant plays a dual role supporting both youth program operations and building operations. This position is responsible for greeting families, checking children in and out of the Youth Ecosystem program, answering questions, maintaining accurate attendance records, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

The Guest Attendant also assists with light cleaning, facility upkeep, and operational support throughout the shift, ensuring Vision Sports Centre remains clean, safe, and welcoming for over 300,000 annual visitors.

This role is essential for maintaining parent communication, ensuring child safety, and supporting the smooth daily functioning of the facility.

Custodian - Flex Care Youth Ecosystem

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of all areas within the recreational sports center, ensuring the facility remains safe, clean, and welcoming for guests and staff. This role includes performing routine cleaning tasks, conducting maintenance activities, restocking supplies, and supporting building operations. The Custodian will work with a team of staff members and provide leadership in emergency situations when the Operations Manager is not on-site.
